东北大学悉尼智能科技学院（Sydney Smart Technology College, Northeastern University）于2020年4月经教育部批准设立（办学许可证编号：MOE13AUA02DNR20202066N）。学院由东北大学与悉尼科技大学合作举办，是隶属于东北大学的非独立法人中外合作办学机构，办学地点在东北大学秦皇岛分校（招生代码19145）。学院设有计算机科学与技术（080901H）、通信工程（080703H）、应用统计学（071202H）三个专业，开展本科层次学历教育。

学院秉承东北大学“教育英才”办学宗旨，坚持“国际标准、中国特色、东大品格”，着力引进海外优质教育资源，以中澳双方优势学科为基础，打破传统工程学科界限，融合悉尼科技大学先进教学模式与课程体系，依托国际领先的办学理念与教学质量标准，为学生提供世界一流的教育教学资源。学院采取“2+2双学士学位（可直博）”“3+2本硕连读”和“4+0”三种国际化人才培养模式，瞄准人工智能与大数据产业需求，培养掌握前沿智能科技、具有全球视野的交叉复合型拔尖创新人才。

About SSTC，NEU

With the approval of the Ministry of Education, Sydney Smart Technology College, Northeastern University (SSTC, NEU), was established in April 2020 (The approval number is MOE13AUA02DNR20202066N). The college, jointly run by Northeastern University and  the University of Technology Sydney, is an unincorporated joint venture affiliated to Northeastern University, and it is located in Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao. The college has bachelor’s programs of Computer Science and Technology (080901H), Communication Engineering (080703H) and Applied Statistics (071202H).

SSTC focuses on the introduction of overseas high-quality educational resources. On the basis of preponderant disciplines of both sides, SSTC breaks the traditional disciplinary boundary of engineering and integrates the advanced model of instruction and curriculum system. SSTC adopts three kinds of international talent cultivating modes, namely "2+2 bachelor program with double bachelor's degrees from NEU and UTS (qualified to directly apply for a doctoral program)", "3+2 bachelor-master program" and "4+0 bachelor program". Aiming at the needs of artificial intelligence and big data industry, the college devotes to cultivating interdisciplinary innovative talents.

Adhering to NEU’s prospect of “building a world-class university with Chinese characteristics to play a leading role in the development of new types of industrialization of China”, SSTC will continue to innovate and explore the path of internationalization and serve the national strategy. Our college will also make unremitting efforts to build itself into a high-level Sino-Foreign cooperatively-run school and provide demonstration effect in the training of internationalized innovative talents.
