东北大学悉尼智能科技学院（Sydney Smart Technology College, Northeastern University）于2020年4月经教育部批准设立（办学许可证编号：MOE13AUA02DNR20202066N）。学院由东北大学与悉尼科技大学合作举办，是隶属于东北大学的非独立法人中外合作办学机构，办学地点在东北大学秦皇岛分校，设有计算机科学与技术（080901H）、通信工程（080703H）、应用统计学（071202H）三个本科专业，开展本科层次学历教育。
学院现有6000余平米的独立教学场地，并共享学校其他教学资源。现有学生875人、专兼职国际化高水平教师75人、教职工16人。学院以“鼎新·致远”为院训，秉承东北大学“教育英才”的办学宗旨，坚持“国际标准、中国特色、东大品格”，切实引进海外优质高等教育资源，以中澳双方优势学科为基础，依托国际领先的办学理念与教学质量标准，为学生提供世界一流的教育教学资源。学院采取“2+2双学士学位（可直博）”“3+2本硕连读”和“4+0”三种国际化人才培养模式，培养具有坚实理论基础、实践能力、全球视野与深造潜力的国际化交叉复合型拔尖创新人才。

About SSTC，NEU
With the approval of the Ministry of Education, Sydney Smart Technology College, Northeastern University (SSTC, NEU), was established in April 2020 (The approval number is MOE13AUA02DNR20202066N). The college, jointly run by Northeastern University and the University of Technology Sydney, is an unincorporated joint venture affiliated to Northeastern University, and it is located in Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao. The college has bachelor’s programs of Computer Science and Technology (080901H), Communication Engineering (080703H) and Applied Statistics (071202H).
With a 6000-square-meter exclusive teaching area, SSTC is also able to share other teaching resources of NEU and NEUQ. It has 291 students in total, employing 47 full-time and part-time international high-quality teachers, and 13 faculties. In accordance with NEU’s aim of "cultivating talents" as well as the principle of "following international standard, highlighting Chinese characteristic, underlining NEU morality", SSTC develops its motto as “make global changes”, and focuses on the introduction of overseas high-quality educational resources. On the basis of preponderant disciplines of both sides, SSTC, supported by international cutting-edge theories on school management and quality standards of teaching, will strive to provide world-class teaching resources for all the students. SSTC adopts three kinds of international talent cultivating modes, namely "2+2 bachelor program with double bachelor's degrees from NEU and UTS (qualified to directly apply for a doctoral program)", "3+2 bachelor-master program" and "4+0 bachelor program", cultivating interdisciplinary innovative talents who master cutting-edge intelligent technologies with international exposure.
In line with the coordinated development strategy of Beijing, Tianjin municipalities and Hebei Province, SSTC integrates NEU’s superior resources and UTS’s world-leading technology in artificial intelligence and data science, and combines the advantageous disciplines of the two universities. It will continue to innovate and explore the path of internationalization, carry forward the advantages of running schools, integrate into regional development and serve the national strategy. In addition, SSTC will also make unremitting efforts to build itself into a world-class Sino-foreign joint college with Chinese characteristics and provide demonstration effect in the cultivation of international innovative talents.
