摘要：
UTS Learning and Teaching forum is a cross-faculty, UTS wide event for the UTS teaching and learning community. The focus this year will be on the experiences, challenges and successes of a truly extraordinary year. We will recognise and celebrate our teachers and students, their resilience, resourcefulness and good practices.
The program will provide the opportunity to share how we have managed the rapidly changing environment, responded to its challenges, learned from our failures and explore how we can work together on changes into the future.
Our keynote, Professor Shirley Alexander, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education & Students), will speak about future directions for learning and teaching, highlighting key themes which will be critical going forward into 2021. The forum will feature a student panel to hear their experiences, reflections and aspirations for the future, reminding us that our teaching centres on their experience while challenging us to think creatively.
The parallel sessions will explore the big challenges and themes that have emerged from learning and teaching in 2020. Breakout rooms will follow each session, to foster critical discussion, make sense of good practice principles and connect with future direction.
We will acknowledge staff who embody the learning.futures ethos with the announcement of Learning and Teaching Award and Citation recipients at the end of the forum.
